When I joined Suki two years ago, we were a small but mighty team passionate about helping doctors reduce their administrative burden. The product was working but its capabilities were limited, hardly anyone knew about us, and our user base was small enough that we knew every user by name. In these early days, our small team worked very closely together to build a solution and a company that would make a difference in healthcare, and the feeling that we were onto something great was palpable.
Now, just two years later, we are seeing the results of our work start to pay off. We’ve focused on continuously improving our products, and Suki Assistant can now do so much more - ICD-10 coding, understanding users without requiring them to memorize rote commands, integrating with commonly used EMRs like Epic and Cerner. We’ve been honored by some of the top organizations, like being included in Fast Company’s World Changing Ideas for AI and Data and named the Google Cloud Partner of the Year for AI & ML. And our customers include some of the largest health systems, providers, and healthcare technology companies in the country.
To keep up with all this growth, we’ve been quickly growing our team. In just the last few months, we’ve welcomed 16 new Sukinis to the team, across many functions including Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales. Our team has grown 20% since the beginning of the year, and thanks to the pandemic, we have shifted to being a remote-first company which means we now have Sukinis all over the US and India. Check out a couple of our new team members!
Richard Cunha, Frontend Lead: “Why did I want to join Suki? It’s simple, I read the company’s mission and vision and I can clearly see how my goals align with the purposes of the company. There's nothing I love more than working with other engaged individuals towards a common goal. As for hobbies, we live in a very rural part of New Hampshire so you can catch me partaking in many outdoor activities: hiking, ATVs/UTVs, snowmobiles, camping, ice fishing, water sports, fishing, and pretty much anything along those lines."
Sneha Rajapathruni, Recruiter, India: “I am very excited to be part of Suki’s journey where I get an opportunity to build and grow along with the organization and I am confident that I am in store for an exciting and impactful journey. For fun, I like refurbishing old furniture and I am also into a lot of DIY as well as pottery, ballet, and salsa.”
To support how quickly we’re scaling, we have many more roles that we’re looking to fill. If you want to be a part of a fun, hardworking team and make an impact in healthcare, check out our open positions.
